Safran ranked in Top 100 Global Innovators 2016

For the sixth year in a row, Safran has ranked in the top 100 most innovative companies in the world, according to the “Top 100 Global Innovators” 2016 released by Clarivate Analytics on January 10, 2017.

Safran being ranked in the Top 100 Global Innovators for the sixth year in a row is the result of a policy that encourages innovation and the safeguarding of know-how. In 2015, the Group invested 12% of its revenues in research and development and filed 910 patents worldwide. Furthermore, it boasts a global portfolio comprising 26,000 patents.

As compiled by Clarivate Analytics (formerly by Thomson Reuters, the American agency that established the ranking in 2011), the report analyzes four criteria: number of patent citations, quality, globalization and influence.
