Safran ranked fourth best employer in France by Capital

Human resources

For the sixth year in a row, French magazine Capital has worked with the Statista Institute to compile a league table of the best employers in France. Safran ranks fourth in the overall listing and second in its sector, a fantastic performance that reflects the Group’s constant efforts to improve the employee experience.

Employees have their say

Last fall, the Statista Institute asked 20,000 employees across France to anonymously take an online survey to measure how satisfied they are with their employers. To gain the most comprehensive insight possible, questions covered criteria as wide-ranging as working conditions, career prospects, training opportunities, work-life balance and gender equality. Respondents were also invited to list the employers they would recommend to their friends from a list of 2,100 companies with over 500 employees.

After analysis of all the answers submitted, Statista produced a list of the 500 best employers in the country, in order of performance. Safran now ranks as the fourth favorite company in the overall listing and second in the aerospace, rail and naval sector.

Moving up the rankings

Safran was 11th last year and 48th in the first listing, published in 2015. This year, we achieved our best performance since the study was launched, which is a fitting reward for the hard work of our Human Resources and other teams as they support employees in their careers and life within the Group. These efforts were also recognized a few months ago when Safran was ranked seventh in the Glassdoor league table of best employers in France.
