Safran ranked 4th favorite company of French engineering students

International polling firm Universum has published its 2020 ranking of the most attractive companies for students in their final year at engineering and business schools in France. For the fourth year in a row, Safran ranked 4th in the survey of engineering students and moves up ten spots in the ranking by business school students, versus last year. Safran is striving to maintain its rankings, despite the current crisis in the aviation industry.
Universum, which specializes in employer branding, has published its 2020 ranking based on the responses of thousands of students to a semi-structured questionnaire covering over 100 companies. Students were asked to indicate which of these companies they would most like to work for and why. By finishing 4th in this demanding survey of tomorrow’s French engineers, Safran confirms once again its attractiveness for this pool of talent. Safran has developed a strong outreach program for many years now, based on an ambitious school relationship policy and multi-channel communications to promote its businesses, products and career opportunities.
Despite the current crisis affecting the aviation sector, Safran plans to maintain and even strengthen its student relationships by organizing conferences, workshops to help students write their résumés, events showcasing Safran’s jobs and business sectors, mentoring, student challenges, etc. All of these actions reflect Safran’s role as a major player in helping young people enter the professional workplace. Safran will continue its outreach policy to help these students plan their careers.
Outfitting tomorrow’s carbon-free aircraft, working on lighter and stronger materials, planning ahead to anticipate customers’ emerging needs… to meet these and other daunting challenges facing aviation in the coming years, Safran is counting on the next generation of students!
