Safran plays key role at the Energy & Mobility Technology, Systems and Value Chain Conference & Expo
Safran joined the global energy and mobility technical and business communities for the Energy & Mobility Conference & Expo in Cleveland, Ohio from September 12 to 15.

As a major player in propulsion and electrical power technologies, Safran was among the companies that sponsored, exhibited and gave presentations at this key industry event hosted by SAE International, NASA, and INCOSE (International Council on Systems Engineering).
The conference’s keynote speaker lineup included experts from NASA and NASA’s Glenn Research Center, SAE International, Boeing, GE Aerospace, and INCOSE. The agenda also featured a number of technical presentations and workshops.
Julien Farjon, Chief Engineer for unmanned aircraft activities, Safran Electronics & Defense participated in workshop titled, “Autonomy in Aerospace.” Safran Electrical & Power Twinsburg was represented by Joe Fakult, Expert Engineer for Rotating Equipment, and Sachin Aggarwal, Expert Engineer in Aerodynamics and Physics. Joe presented on High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) electric power generators, as part of a project for the Ohio Federal Research Network (OFRN), while Sachin addressed “The Role of Computational Fluid Dynamics in Electrification of Air Travel.”
Representing Safran in the exhibit area to promote Safran’s technologies and career opportunities were Angela Presutto, Engineering Manager at Safran Electrical & Power; Jay Sampson, Reliability Manager, Safran Landing Systems Walton; Deniece Hinojisa, HR Administrator, Safran USA Engine Supply Chain Support Office; and Cassandra Hayes, HR Manager, Safran Electrical & Power Twinsburg.
