Safran hosts Congressman in New Hampshire

On November 6, U.S. Congressman Chris Pappas (D-NH) made a special visit to Optics 1's Bedford, New Hampshire facility dedicated to electro-optic and navigation systems. He was hosted by Safran Optics 1 President and CEO Joseph Bogosian; along with Greg Moore, Vice President - Programs; Tom Ackerman, Director of Business Development Operations; and Read Van de Water, Senior Vice President - External Affairs at Safran USA.

During his visit, Congressman Pappas was briefed on the company's success over the past three years, which includes an employment increase of 120% and the procurement of multi-year program awards.

Safran Optics 1 recently celebrated a groundbreaking ceremony marking a two-story, 15,000-square-foot building addition, creating more floor space for production and engineering, while providing a larger stockroom and shipping/receiving areas, as well as expanded employee cafeteria.

Safran Optics 1 is a global leader in the design and production of high-performance systems and subsystems for defense and civil applications. Its products include laser rangefinders, markers, visual augmentation systems, precision north finding and inertial navigation systems and targeting solutions.
