EngineLife® Connect, a label for helicopter engines connectivity
Safran is firmly committed to delivering digital services that make a difference in the day to day operations of helicopters. Collecting engine data as the raw material for digital services will open the opportunity to new operational performance improvements.

In that regard, the connectivity of the present and future in-service helicopters is a mandatory link in the data value chain. This includes collecting, transmitting, capitalizing, analyzing data to feedback concrete value to helicopter operators – reducing maintenance or administrative burden, maximizing helicopter availability, reducing operating costs or complying with new sustainability standards.
That is why Safran Helicopter Engines is unveiling at Verticon 2025 the EngineLife® Connect label to identify the best connectivity solutions that are compatible with its range of products and services

The EngineLife Connect label has already been awarded to the following data connectivity solutions, that present the best data scope, downloading capabilities and worldwide certification coverage related to Safran-powered helicopter fleets:
- NSE Brite Saver 2
- Safran Electronics & Defense Helicom V2+
- Outerlink IRIS System
- Airbus Helicopters wACS (wireless Airborne Communications System)
“At Safran, we strongly believe that our OEM digital services have the potential to turn helicopter and engine data into a source of helicopter operation optimization. That is why we collaborate with the best players in the data market. EngineLife® Connect will help operators make the most of their Safran EngineLife® services,” said Mathieu Albert EVP Support and Services at Safran Helicopter Engines.
EngineLife® Connect is destined to expand by incorporating new data solutions. It will consistently set the standard of connectivity that ensures the best operational results.
