Safran Electrical & Power receives the Sikorsky Elite Supplier Designation and Supplier of the Year Award!

"It is an honor to be part of Sikorsky's Elite Supplier Team. Only 19 Suppliers achieved this rating, and Denton and Chihuahua comprised two of the 19 facilities to be awarded this designation. On top of that, Chihuahua has also earned Supplier of the Year.  Our Teams continue to demonstrate world class performance and it is being recognized by our Customer”, said Steve Mears, Director of Sales and Marketing in North America. The Elite Supplier award replaces the Gold Supplier Award within the new Sikorsky recognition program, and is dedicated to suppliers who accomplished outstanding performance and achievements during the year.  “We are making a difference, and I am proud to be part of such a committed Team,” adds Steve.

In addition to the Elite Suppliers Award, Chihuahua has been awarded Supplier of the Year. Only seven companies have joined this very closed circle for 2017. “This is the result of persistence and intelligence. It helps us believe in ourselves and in the goals that we can achieve when we work as a team with the same objective in mind. I am very proud to be part of such a professional team”, said Arturo Armenta, Sikorsky Program Manager. Indeed, this performance has been achieved thanks to their dedication. They fully committed to deliver an excellent product, to focus on customer’s requirements and satisfaction. They also continuously launched specific projects to reach better levels of quality and efficiency on the Sikorsky program every day.
