Safran Electrical & Power received the Boeing Performance Excellence Award
On April 12th, Safran Electrical & Power through its Denton, Chihuahua and Casablanca (MATIS) sites received the Boeing Performance Excellence Award – Silver Level - during a ceremony held in Dallas.
Safran Electrical & Power was part of the 481 among 13 000 suppliers awarded by Boeing for their outstanding performance. A recognition that touches the 2,400 employees who work for the Boeing programs at Safran in Mexico, USA and Morocco. The Boeing 737, 747, 767, 777, 787 and the KC46 Tanker, the CH-47, V-22, A-10 and F-22 programs teams: they were all recognized for the great quality and on-time-delivery performance. “Our strong performance and close collaboration helped Boeing reach customers' expectations in 2016. We are a partner. It is a real achievement”, said Mike Fogarty, Boeing Programs Director for EWIS Americas.
It is not the first time. Last year, the company was even recognized as "Supplier of the Year" by Boeing, in Production and Design category, for exceptional performance and contributions to Boeing's overall success in 2015. This year, Safran Electrical & Power was among the companies in the running for the Collaboration category and also honored by a trophy for Excellence in Advocacy.
“The Boeing Performance Excellence Award - Silver Level Award is a hard-earned recognition by Boeing of the great performance of our teams in supporting the Boeing Programs. It is only with a true Customer Focus that we are able to continuously perform at the high levels of Delivery and Quality that this award demands. As we all realize, during the span of a year, we encounter many difficulties and unexpected challenges. It is only by having always an attitude of finding solutions that we are able to maintain this great performance! “, concluded Mike Fogarty
