Safran Electrical & Power inaugurates its new plant in Chihuahua
On April 26, Safran Electrical & Power Chihuahua celebrated the opening of a new 13,500m2 factory located on its campus in Chihuahua, Mexico, & hosting 800 employees.
The opening of this new plant takes the total number of Safran Electrical & Power Chihuahua campus staff to 3,330. The 800 new employees will help support the production of electrical wiring for the Boeing 737, 767 and 777 programs.
Production began in August 2023. Safran Electrical & Power has successfully started delivering wiring to Boeing final assembly.
