Safran Electrical & Power Awards its Top Suppliers

Three suppliers received awards: Phenix Electronique, specialist in circuit boards, won the Best Continuous Improvement Prize, KLX Aerospace Solutions, specialist in distribution and supply chain design, won the Best Performance Improver Prize, and Esterline –Souriau – Sunbank, specialist in electrical connectors, won the Best Customer Service Prize.

•  We monitor the performance of our 750 production suppliers, obviously with a focus on quality and delivery, but we also take other criteria, such as flexibility, daily operational support, lean management, and competitiveness into account. To guarantee a result that represents our company as a whole, all Safran Electrical & Power departments—Supply Chain, Quality, Operations, and Purchasing—participated in the evaluation," said Patrick Prulhière, Vice President Purchasing at Safran Electrical & Power.

"This ceremony aims to promote operational excellence among our suppliers, modeled on what we can do ourselves in our factories. The goal is to recognize the efforts made by our providers so that we can attain Safran Electrical & Power's high standards and, by doing that, support our development," said Alain Sauret, President of Safran Electrical & Power.
