Safran Data Systems extends its portfolio of satellite tracking antennas
With more than 250 stations deployed worldwide, Safran Data Systems is a key player in satellite tracking ground stations. In order to best respond to market changes and to support the constant growth of the last few years, Safran Data Systems has organized its portfolio of satellite tracking antennas around four brands LEGION, VISION, ORION, IRIS.
- LEGION antennas, with reflectors between 2 and 4 meters in diameter, meeting the needs of smallsats and constellations: competitiveness and reliability;
- VISION antennas, from 5 to 7 meters, mainly intended for Earth Observation, are modern and scalable antennas for demanding applications;
- ORION antennas, formerly PRO Series, which are now up to 13.5 meters, are the preferred solutions for space agencies for their reliability and their S/X/Ka tri-band feed;
- IRIS antennas, ideal for mobile solutions, meeting regular relocation requirements.
With a complete portfolio of tri-band antennas, Safran Data Systems has taken a key step in the evolution of its satellite tracking ground stations, serving its customers and partners.
This development strengthens its position as a global industrial leader in all these markets, and accelerates its international development.
Noël BALLOT, Safran Data Systems' Vice President, Sales and Marketing, said:
"Safran Data Systems is well known as a major player in satellite tracking ground stations. This is the experience and work cumulated over several years, with recently the development of the S/X/Ka tri-band concentric feed, from which all antennas now will benefit. Reliable, scalable and with very high performance, they meet the requirements of today and are ready for tomorrow."
