Safran Cabin Tijuana: 1st Green Belt certification
This past November marked a momentous occasion as Safran Cabin Tijuana held a completion ceremony for the first wave of Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification. Focused on Continues Improvement to achieve company goals and customer satisfaction, the training took place during the period of May thru September of 2018, during which the 10 participants not only completed their curricular hours, additionally developed a DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve, Control ) methodology that positively impacted the company’s KPI.
The employees trained are members of departments such Manufacturing, Quality, Human Resources, Maintenance and HSE (Health, Safety, Environment).
Congratulations to our partners, now certified in Lean-Six Sigma Green Belt by Safran.
This Green Belt certification is part of the Safran’s global plan launched and implemented of Green and Black Belt program. In 2018, more than 350 Lean-Sigma training courses were delivered in Safran Aerosystems, Safran Cabin and Safran Seats companies.
What is a Green Belt Certification?
It is a training where participants are instructed in the use of tools and work methodologies: Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma, with the purpose of developing improvement projects reducing waste and variation in their processes and work areas.
