The biannual symposium, which featured a full line-up of technical presentations and an exhibit hall with product displays, was an opportunity to showcase the latest developments in gas turbine engine technology market.

Presenting Safran’s technological capabilities and environmental commitment during the symposium were Norma Lantz, Executive Vice President, Airframer Sales & Marketing at Safran Helicopter Engines; and Angela Presutto, Mechanical Engineering Manager at Safran Electrical & Power.

The symposium brought together engineers, scientists, managers, and operational personnel from the turbine engine community, including the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, NASA, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), the Department of Energy, the Federal Aviation Administration, along with engine and aircraft manufacturers, material and component suppliers, and academia.
