Safran attended the 9th Research Workshop between Beihang and GEC (Groupe des Ecoles Centrale) at Beihang University

The 9th Research Workshop between Beihang and GEC (Groupe des Ecoles Centrale) was held at Beihang University from May 10^th to 12^th, 2017. Safran, along with other industrial companies, was invited to the Research Workshop and had a deep exchange with the professors and students.

During the meeting, a mechanical engineer from Safran Aircraft Engines presented his on-going R&D projects in China and gave a speech on the aircraft engine design, which was highly appreciated by the GEC managing director.

Safran has always been heavily involved in education and in-service training programs for engineers, reflecting its ongoing commitment to the development of the Chinese aviation industry. In 2005, Safran was the first industrial partner to join the project to create the Ecole Centrale of Beijing, part of Beihang University. In 2012, Safran and Beihang University signed a MoU to bolster their collaboration.
