Safran among the top employer by France’s future engineers!

Human resources

International polling firm Universum has published its 2019 ranking of the most attractive companies for students in their final year at engineering and business schools in France. For the third year in a row, Safran ranks 4th in the survey of engineering students — confirming our appeal as an employer of choice and our ability to attract the country’s brightest young graduates.

Universum, which specializes in employer branding, has published its 2019 ranking based on the responses of 36,578 students to a semi-assisted questionnaire with 130 company names. Students were asked to indicate which of these companies they would most like to work for and why. For the third year running, Safran has rated 4th in this prestigious survey — an achievement that reflects our growing reputation with future engineers.

Safran’s ranking is also the result of our outreach across multiple channels to promote our businesses, products and career opportunities, with real-life stories, live chats about jobs, opinion pieces by senior managers, videos with informative infographics, newsletters and more.

This is coupled with an equally proactive policy of outreach with schools. Safran has forged nearly 20 partnerships with France’s top universities and engineering and business schools as a way to engage with students. Our network of over 250 school ambassadors plays a key role in this partnership strategy. As alumni now working for Safran, they visit their old schools to talk about their jobs and the career paths Safran offers graduates.
