The Business Unit Zodiac Aero Duct Systems (ZADS), which specializes in the production of high-pressure and high-temperature pipes, especially for engines, is experiencing strong growth in its activity, which is reflected in numerous recruitment needs for specialized profiles: fitters and welders.

Given the shortage of qualified profiles in its employment pool, ZADS decided to create in 2017 its own internal training school for these two positions. An initiative that brings together internal trainers, identified for their know-how and their ability to transmit it, the local partners of employment and training and the Human Resources department of the site.

A large selection of candidates was carried out in connection with our partners, mainly based on motivation and well-being. In January, the first class of ZADS Academy was graduated. Of the 22 trainees in this first class, 15 were hired under fixed-term contracts. The ZADS Academy will continue its mission of training and integration, since ZADS plans to host thirty trainees per year between 2018 and 2020, to support the growth of its activity and its workforce.
