Renewal of the “Responsible Supplier Relations and Purchasing” label for Safran!
On May 14, 2024, Safran’s “Responsible Purchasing and Supplier Relations” (RFAR) label was renewed, following a unanimous decision by the Committee tasked with awarding it. The Committee commended the quality of the submission and congratulated all the company’s teams. This is the third renewal in a row since the first award in 2017.
It reflects the Group’s commitment to fostering sustainable and balanced relationships with its suppliers. Safran’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy, which is centered on implementing the low-carbon plan with its supply chain, also played an important role in the renewal of the RFAR label.
Endorsed by the French public authorities, this label allows us to demonstrate that we are honoring the commitments of the Charter for Responsible Purchasing and Supplier Relations, as well as implementing the recommendations of ISO 20400, the international standard for responsible purchasing.
