A Power Purchase Agreement for the United Kingdom
The renewable energy purchase agreement will start in early April, enabling Safran entities in the United Kingdom to meet their electricity needs through UK-based solar power production. This is Safran’s first long-term PPA in the country and will help to halve the CO2 emissions* of the Group’s 12 UK sites.
“We are very proud of this innovative deal with Engie. Our commitment to buy renewable energy over the next ten years illustrates our proactive approach to combating climate change,” explained Véronique Bardelmann, Safran National Executive UK.
