Rémi Paul appointed CEO & Country General Delegate-Safran China

Since December 1, 2022, Rémi Paul is appointed CEO & Country General Delegate-Safran China, replacing Philippe Bardol who has been called to take on other responsibilities within Safran. We thank Philippe for his effective action in China in these such difficult times.

Rémi began his career in 1990 at the Banque Française du Commerce Extérieur (BFCE). In 1996, he joined the Compagnie Générale des Eaux/Vivendi as Special Advisor International Affairs to General Management. Based in Shanghai from 2002 to 2008, he was first appointed Deputy General Manager of Shanghai Pudong Veolia Water Ltd, and then VP Corporate Affairs for all operations of Veolia Water China.

In 2008, he moved to Moscow following his appointment as Veolia Water-Managing Director Russia CIS Turkey. In 2014, he joined the Thales Group as Country Director Russia-Kazakhstan in the General Direction of International Development.

Rémi, 56 years old, is a graduate of Sciences Po Paris/Public Service Section (1988) and holds an MBA from HEC (1995).
