“Radar”: the power of women’s networks at Safran

Human resources

To mark International Women’s Day this Friday, March 8, your Radar podcast takes you on a journey to France and across the Atlantic, to learn more about the various networks aiming to promote the professional development of women within the Group.

Radar
The power of women’s networks at Safran

In the aeronautical industry, women currently represent less than a quarter (24%) of the workforce. Although this ratio is slightly higher at Safran (29.3 % women at the end of 2023), the Group’s goal is to go further in terms of feminization. Attracting more women to the workforce, promoting their career development, and, of course, keeping them within the Group: these are Safran’s priorities in this area.

As such, women’s networks are being set up with committed female employees throughout the world so as to encourage exchanges, mutual support and the sharing of experience. In this new episode of Radar, three speakers provide us with some insight on this subject thanks to Johanna’s interviews:

  • Claire Gathier-Caillaud, Senior VP, Head of Talent Acquisition & Development at Safran,
  • Veronica Klein, Sales Director America at Safran Cabin,
  • Cécile Provain-Cadiou, Head of the Methods and Tools Department - Purchasing at Safran Electronics & Defense.
