[“Radar” podcast ] RISE: on the way to carbon-free aviation!

One year ago, on June 14, 2021, CFM – the joint venture between Safran and General Electric Aviation – presented the ambitious RISE program, which stands for "Revolutionary Innovation for Sustainable Engines". The aim of this program is to achieve a 20% reduction in fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions compared to the current engine options. It is a key program in reducing the environmental footprint of the aviation industry. So one year on from the launch of RISE, where are we now? What steps have already been taken?
