Practical initiatives for a sustainable future
In Thailand, Safran Cabin teams in Lamphun helped to build a flow control dam and joined in a tree planting program led by a government organization. This initiative aims to replenish groundwater, limit soil erosion and reduce the risk of flooding and drought. It is a fundamental effort to support local biodiversity and climate regulation.
In China, teams from Safran Aircraft Engines in Guiyang, accompanied by their families, took part in a clean-up operation in Qianling Park. Together, they picked up an impressive amount of waste, helping to preserve this natural beauty spot.
Recycling for a good cause
At Safran Electrical & Power in Chihuahua, Mexico, an ongoing initiative to collect plastic bottle caps has been set up at the site. Once recycled, these bottle caps will finance parasports equipment and support initiatives to make sporting activities accessible to people with disabilities.
