Nomination of Nicolas Franck to the role of CEO of Aero Gearbox International
As part of Aero Gearbox International’s rotating governance, Eric Valentin and Todd Corder announce forthcoming leadership team appointment.
We are pleased to announce the appointment of Nicolas Franck to the role of Chief Executive Officer, Aero Gearbox International (AGI), in replacement of Andrew Taylor. He will report directly to the AGI Board of Directors.
Nicolas joined SAFRAN in 1998 as part of SAFRAN AIRCRAFT ENGINES working on the Rafale programme as head of engine performance. Since joining, Nicolas has progressed and held a variety of roles in SAFRAN AIRCRAFT ENGINES including Production Line Manager – Fan Blades; Head of Improvement of the Space Engine Division; Lean Director of the Industrial and Supply Chain Division; and Head of Turbine Blade investment casting. Nicolas has held his latest position as Investment Director at SAFRAN Corporate Ventures since 2016.
Nicolas Franck will join AGI and assume executive responsibility from the 1st February 2021 and will work closely with the existing team to ensure a smooth handover and leadership transition. For the interim period between 1st January 2021 and 31st January 2021 Yann Segard will assume the accountabilities of his Deputy CEO role and lead the organisation.
