Business
The business unit Zodiac Space & Communication develops various types of products:
- Modems and compact antennas allowing telemetry signals reception for launchers (Ariane, Vega, SPACEX…), and for aircraft and helicopters, development and certification tests;
- Radio Frequency equipment used for Space communication;
- Equipment and solutions for Satcom monitoring for civil applications.
In addition to R&D activities, qualified teams perform assembly, integration and tests of this high-end family of products and provide efficient customer service.

The Safran Data Systems Colombelles location, near Caen, France, concentrates R&D, production, sales and service activities.
