Lufthansa Technik renews its trust in Safran Electrical & Power for the maintenance of its electrical harnesses
Safran Electrical & Power has signed an extension to its contract with Lufthansa Technik, one of the world's leading engine maintenance and repair companies, to provide electrical harness maintenance for CFM56 engines.
This contract extends the one signed at the 2019 Paris Air Show. It covers the wiring of CFM56 engines powering the Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 families,that is a fleet of over 12,000 aircraft. The Safran Electrical & Power site in Vichy will continue to repair the wiring harnesses, which will then be delivered to Lufthansa Technik in Hamburg.
