Manan has paved a successful trajectory in talent acquisition and human resources over the past 12 years. He started out in recruitment roles before progressing to senior positions in the IT industry, then subsequently joined Safran Seats in 2022. Manan recently was promoted to the position of HR Manager at Safran Seats. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Studies (Business Administration) from Amberton University in Dallas, Texas.
In the following questions and answers, Manan shares his motivations, career tips and insights on life at Safran.
Why did you choose a career in Human Resources?
I find fulfillment in creating inclusive workplaces and helping individuals reach their full potential. Plus, I thrive on the challenge of helping people unlock their full potential and building environments where everyone can shine brightly. So, HR felt like the perfect stage for me to showcase my passion for people and contribute to the success of organizations in a meaningful way.
What are the biggest challenges of working in HR?
One of the biggest challenges we face is being the gatekeepers of balance amidst the chaos of organizational dynamics. It's a wild adventure, navigating through the ever-changing landscape of workplace culture, legal compliance, and employee relations. But where's the fun without a few twists and turns, right? And at the end of the day, seeing the team thrive makes every challenge worth it!
What is your advice to someone considering a career in HR?
My advice would be to develop a strong foundation in HR principles, continuously seek learning opportunities, keep a growth-mindset, hone interpersonal skills, stay updated on industry trends, and leverage technology to enhance HR processes.
What do you like the most about working at Safran?

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
In my free time, I'm all about exploring nature, trying new cuisines, spending time with loved ones, and volunteering in the community. Whether it's hiking, dining out, or giving back, I'm always seeking new experiences and opportunities to learn, grow and make a positive impact.
