S7 ENGINEERING and Zodiac Aerospace Services get together to inaugurate leading edge water and waste repair capabilities in DME.

Moscow, December 20, 2016 – S7 ENGINEERING (a part of ENGINEERING Holding) water and waste repair shop, built and equipped in close collaboration with Zodiac Aerospace Services, was inaugurated on the 8th of December 2016 in Moscow Domodedovo airport (DME). The project comes as part of S7 ENGINEERING’s efforts to strengthen the aerospace and the MRO industry in Russia and to relocate repair capabilities closer to Russian and CIS operators.

Since the long-term agreement between the two companies was signed in December 2015, S7 ENGINEERING had been busy with construction works of the new premises, which received certification in accordance with Russian Ministry of Transport and EASA guidelines in November 2016. This 130 sq.m. brand new repair shop, featuring Zodiac Aerospace VTTS© equipment (Vacuum Toilet Test Stand), will be able to process more than 200 vacuum toilets per year (A320 family, Boeing 737NG, 777, and 767 toilets).

ENGINEERING Holding is now able to provide competitive and reliable vacuum toilet repairs with a very short TAT following rigorous and sophisticated control procedures approved by Zodiac Aerospace. This will translate into major benefits for Russian and CIS operators, from major cost savings to easier logistics & customs, together with local Russian speaking customer services, technical support and direct access to Zodiac Aerospace product improvements.
