Harmony, episode 3: a poetic touch to technology
After François Vogel and Ivona Tau, the next leg of our aviation-inspired artistic exploration known as the Harmony project introduces us to the work of Linda Dounia. This well-known Senegalese artist and designer has exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York. The poetic piece she created for Safran was inspired by one of the Group’s traditional products. Would you guess which one?
A look back on the Harmony project
Unveiled in September, the Harmony project opens up Safran’s graphic archive to a panel of digital artists represented by ArtPoint. These artists create digital art using a variety of tools and methods, including artificial intelligence, 3D, collage and even space-time distortion.
They were given carte blanche to imagine original artworks directly inspired by the Group's products, facilities, innovations and values. In essence, an aviation-inspired artistic exploration!

Introducing Linda Dounia
Linda Dounia is a Senegalese experimental artist and designer whose work explores the philosophical implications of technocapitalism and its role in entrenching systems of inequality. Linda Dounia is a rising star of the art world, acclaimed by leading institutions around the globe. Her work has been exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York, Christie's, Unit London, Art X Lagos, Art Basel (in Basel and Miami), etc.
