Figure of the week: 9,000

On Friday April 26^th 2019, the Bidos plant celebrated the delivery of the 9,000^th Airbus A320 nose landing gear. Launched in February 1987, the Airbus A320 is now one of the most sold airliners in the world. For 32 years, the Bidos plant has drastically improved its productivity in order to deliver nose landing gears more rapidly: 20 years ago, it took a month to deliver 16 nose landing gears. Today, this same quantity is delivered within a week only! At this rate, the 10,000^th nose landing gear should be delivered in 2020! Congratulations again to the teams in Bidos!
