Extension of approval to LEAP-1A test activities: first test bench certified

A first Safran Aero Boosters test bench has received the extension of approval to LEAP-1A test activities!
Safran Aircraft Engines had entrusted Safran Aero Boosters with a new activity on the CFM LEAP engine: MRO testing of LEAP-1A and LEAP-1B engines.
With the support of the Walloon Region, the teams at the Liers test center and Safran Test Cells were able to get to work and start renovating test bench 1 and 2.
After more than 2 years of work, test bench 1 is operational and can start its new MRO activity thanks to the approval extension!
For the occasion, all the teams involved in this important project gathered to celebrate the event!
We have been working on this project for several years. Safran Test Cells integrates the best technologies available on these benches. The aggregation of test cell 1 is a great success! We're looking forward to the second test cell next year, for LEAP-1B testing.
