Extension of approval to LEAP-1A test activities: first test bench certified

Safran Aircraft Engines had entrusted Safran Aero Boosters with a new activity on the CFM LEAP engine: MRO testing of LEAP-1A and LEAP-1B engines.

With the support of the Walloon Region, the teams at the Liers test center and Safran Test Cells were able to get to work and start renovating test bench 1 and 2.

After more than 2 years of work, test bench 1 is operational and can start its new MRO activity thanks to the approval extension!

For the occasion, all the teams involved in this important project gathered to celebrate the event!
