Engineers highlight Safran innovation and careers at Kent State University
A group of expert engineers from Safran Electrical & Power participated in an engineering panel at Kent State University in Ohio last month.
As panelists, Sachin Aggarwal, Engineering Team Lead & Aero-Thermal Expert, along with Joe Fakult, an Expert Mechanical Engineer for Air Cooled Generators at Safran Electrical & Power in Twinsburg, Ohio shared their industry experience and guidance on careers.
Mechanical Engineering co-ops Ben Kavouras and Ben Sabic also were in attendance.
This gave engineering students at Kent State University the opportunity to engage with the expert engineers from Safran, who had a wealth of knowledge to share.
Safran Electrical & Power's Twinsburg site develops and maintains electrical power generation and management systems for commercial and military aircraft.
The Kent State University visit was part of Safran Electrical & Power's ongoing efforts to build strong academic partnerships with local universities, serving as a pipeline for talented engineers.
