The airline Condor, based in Frankfurt (Germany), has started on December 27th operations with their first Airbus A330neo equipped with the spacious Skylounge Core business class seats from Safran Seats.

Condor is the European launch customer for the Skylounge Core seat which provides the best Business Class features for a unique passenger experience: direct access to the aisle, fully flat bed, best in class living space and high privacy levels plus a premium front row experience. Its modular design enables the seat to be customized to suit the airline's wishes. Significant work was undertaken in collaboration with the Condor team on the design of the front row and on all seats to ensure the company's new branding was incorporated.

The 18 Airbus A330neo aircrafts which will be operated by Condor, are equipped with 30 Skylounge Core seats, specifically designed to make the best out of the Airbus A330neo cabin specifics.

"The Skylounge Core Business Class seats by Safran are a perfect fit for Condors new A330neo product” said Christian Schmitt, Chief Operations Officer and Accountable Manager Condor. “The good cooperation and solution of Safran support our aim to offer our guests maximum comfort and an outstanding customer experience onboard.”

Victoria Foy, CEO of Safran Seats, states: "We are honored to provide Condor with a product that offers the latest market standards, developed in record time thanks to its modularity, which enables high seat customization and shortened development times".
