Captronic Systems is now Safran Data Systems India
Acquired in 2022 by Safran Electronics & Defense, the former Indian company Captronic Systems now operates under a new identity: ”Safran Data Systems India Pvt. Ltd”. This change reflects Safran's aim to harmonize the branding of its companies, providing a consistent experience to its clients worldwide.
Over the past 25 years, Safran Data Systems India formerly Captronic Systems has developed unique expertise in the design, development, and supply of automated test equipment and simulation systems for aerospace, defense, and automotive applications.
With a team of over 170 individuals, including 150 engineers spread across Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, and Trivamdrum, the company is recognized for its skills in system engineering, radio frequency, digital signal processing, instrumentation, and testing.
As a trusted partner of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) and the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO), Safran Data Systems India has played a key role in numerous landmark missions and programs such as Chandrayaan (Lunar Mission), Gaganyaan (Human Space Program), Aditya-L1 (Sun Mission), Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas, and Airborne Early Warning and Control System (AEW&CS) – Netra.
