Apollo 11 mission 50th anniversary: Safran Seats was part of it !

50 years ago, three astronauts, Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins, took off for the Moon from Cape Canaveral, Florida... A major event in mankind history.

Safran Seats is proud to honor the men and women who contributed to the first moon landing. Safran Seats provided ejection seats for the Lunar Landing Research Vehicle. This vehicle was a pilot training vehicle for maneuvering and landing the Apollo Lunar Module on the moon. During the training phase, Neil Armstrong was the first pilot to use the ejection seat.
