Maintenance and repair solutions

AMES provides airlines in the region with fast and efficient solutions to maintain and repair their aircraft, leveraging the expertise and resources of its two parent companies: Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance, a leading provider of maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services, and Safran Nacelles, a world leader in aircraft nacelle integration, support and after-sales service

Thanks to this recognized expertise, AMES is enjoying great commercial success and invests accordingly to meet the demand of its customers. “The recent contracts signed by our parent companies are proof of the region’s dynamism, which heralds sustained activity for 2025.” explains Dimitri Fauron, co-director of AMES. “That is why we have strengthened our capacity, both in terms of infrastructure and material and human resources."

AMES is investing in people and resources

In 2024, the repair workshop grew further and was equipped with new tools dedicated to structural repairs, particularly on A320neo equipment. As an A320neo LEAP-1A nacelle repair station approved by both its parent companies, AMES has access to complex repair capabilities, including for the replacement of the main structural components of the nacelle. “The A320neo license and the arrival of new strategic tools will enable us to further develop our repair capabilities, on the LEAP-1A nacelles, the A320 radomes, and the GE90 fan stator modules.” said Aymeric Verdier, AMES’ co-director.

In addition, significant recruitment effort (+40%) and training was carried out to support this expected growth in activity.
