Safran Aero Boosters, the technology partner for engine manufacturers, on show at the Paris Air Show

Safran Aero Boosters, a specialist in sub-assemblies, equipment and test cells for aircraft and spacecraft engines, is showcasing a few of its star products at the Paris Air Show.

The Safran Aero Boosters stand in the Paris Air Show's Belgian wing (Hall 2B – G32), is featuring two low-pressure compressors (also known as boosters): one for latest-generation LEAP engines and the other for the Silvercrest engines powering Dassault Aviation's Falcon 5X and Cessna's Citation Hemisphere business jets.

A helium filling plate for space launchers, which has been redesigned for 3D printing, illustrates Safran Aero Boosters' breakthroughs with this manufacturing method.

These products showcase part of Safran Aero Boosters' business today. The company is also investing a significant 15% of its revenue in preparing the future. The developments here include a new 1:1 scale prototype of a high-speed compressor engineered for the next engine generations, and various projects involving upgrades to bring the Factory of the Future closer.

Safran Aero Boosters' stand is in the Belgian wing because it the company is a joint venture between Safran, its parent, which holds a 67% interest in its equity, and Belgian public authorities, namely Wallonia regional authorities (31%) and Société Fédérale de Participations et d'Investissement (2%).
