Morpho Again Awarded TSA Explosives Detection Systems Service Contract Valued up to $221M
Valued up to $221 million over three years, Morpho Detection was selected for this contract following successful completion of two previous ILS contracts first awarded in 2005. This sole source contract covers acquisition of Performance Based Logistics (PBL) services including preventive, corrective and excepted maintenance actions on TSA's entire fleet of Morpho CTX EDS. The largest supplier of hold baggage EDS systems to TSA and airports around the world, Morpho Detection's field service teams help ensure maximize system life and performance through a proactive, onsite maintenance program.
"Morpho is honored to continue our decades-long work helping TSA achieve their high standard for system maintenance and performance," said Karen Bomba, president and CEO, Morpho Detection. "Morpho has made significant investments in recent years to deliver the highest level of service reliability, while aggressively managing costs for our customers. This contract is a reflection of these efforts."
In addition to CTX EDS, this contract covers all service requirements for Morpho's MUX™ multiplexing networks and software to enable central station and airport-wide networking capabilities.
