MRO Americas, Miami, April 16th, 2015
American's leading charter carrier Omni Air International has chosen Messier-Bugatti-Dowty Wheel and Brake Repair and Services, the North American subsidiary of Messier-Bugatti-Dowty (Safran), to handle the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) of wheels and brakes installed on its Boeing 767 fleet.
This exclusive partnership, which was originally established in 2009, has now been extended through 2019 and covers all Messier-Bugatti-Dowty equipped 767 aircraft.
Geoffrey Loney, Director of Materiel Services at Omni Air International, said, "We have always been fully satisfied with the wheel and brake MRO support and solutions provided by MBD Wheel and Brake Repair and Services. Their excellent track record, as well as their direct relationship with the wheels and brakes OEM, was a decisive factor in our selection and naturally led us to renew this partnership."
All equipment will be serviced at MBD Wheel and Brake Repair and Services repair centers in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
Mike Buckley, President of MBD Wheel and Brake Repair and Services, added, "We are delighted to continue our contribution to Omni Air International's success. Their renewed confidence reflects not only the quality of our services, but also the pertinence of our development strategy in North America, which is to provide close support and increased service value to our customers. Thanks to our network of US service centers, we can guarantee to Omni Air the quick reactivity they need to ensure maximum dispatch reliability across their 767 fleet."
