Morpho Launches World’s Fastest Iris Capture Device

Morpho (Safran), the world leader in biometric technology, today announced the launch of Morpho IAD™ (Iris at A Distance), a breakthrough device combining iris and face capture. Capable of acquiring iris images in just one second, it is the fastest device available on the market. Morpho will unveil this innovation at GITEX 2013 in Dubai from October 20 - 24 hall S2-C1

It provides effortless, non-intrusive acquisition as the user simply needs to stand within the designated zone and look at the device. With an iris capture distance of one meter, this advanced system is suitable for both enrolment and verification.

Combining both iris and face capture, Morpho IAD™ (Iris at A Distance) is suited to a wide range of applications such as border control, access control and flow management that require fast, convenient and accurate imaging technology. Its sleek, modern design allows for easy integration into an e-gate or a counter, and mounting on a wall.
