Safran a part of European Heritage Days 2012

During European Heritage Days on September 15 and 16, 2012, the Safran Air & Space Museum welcomed over 3,000 visitors to discover its outstanding collection of aircraft and rocket engines.

The theme for the 29th European Heritage Days was "Hidden Heritage", inviting participants to take a voyage back in time, especially to see the history of transportation. The 3,000 visitors to the Safran Museum discovered an unrivaled collection of airplane, helicopter and rocket engines, along with a number of surprising items from Safran's long history, including a Messier car with oleopneumatic suspension from 1925, and the Gnome & Rhône motorcycle with its own gas generator from 1929.
