Safran a part of European Heritage Days 2012
The theme for the 29th European Heritage Days was "Hidden Heritage", inviting participants to take a voyage back in time, especially to see the history of transportation. The 3,000 visitors to the Safran Museum discovered an unrivaled collection of airplane, helicopter and rocket engines, along with a number of surprising items from Safran's long history, including a Messier car with oleopneumatic suspension from 1925, and the Gnome & Rhône motorcycle with its own gas generator from 1929.
