Safran launches new corporate ad campaign in France

Safran launched a new corporate advertising campaign in France on Monday, June 18, with ads appearing in all major French newspapers and magazines. The ad features a photo of the "human logo" formed by 3,000 newly hired and promoted managers from across the Group during Safran Discovery Day on June 6, 2012 at Le Bourget near Paris.

Designed to enhance Safran's identity and brand image in the eyes of the public, this new ad campaign complements the current recruitment campaign that aims to expand the Group's recognition among its recruiting targets, with 6,000 new employees to be hired in 2012.

"The success of a high-tech group like Safran depends on the talent of our people," said Dominique-Jean Chertier, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Corporate Office. "We want to enhance our recognition and also spotlight the contribution of our employees to the technologies we develop and apply. Safran will hire 6,000 new employees in 2012, including both recent graduates and seasoned pros. We decided to help identify these candidates by addressing their key expectations, which Safran can legitimately fulfill."

The new "PROUD!" ad campaign is built around a very striking image – the photo of the human logo formed by the 3,000 participants in Safran Discovery Day, wearing the colors of the Group's emblem.

This was an impressive symbol of the Group's strength and success, driven by our 60,000 employees, a point that was emphasized by Chairman and CEO Jean-Paul Herteman during his closing address at Discovery Day: "The Group's employees have different profiles, different jobs and different career itineraries. But you also have a point in common: you didn't choose Safran by chance or by necessity. You were guided by a taste for technology, a desire to extend your horizons, and the determination to construct a rich and varied career."
