Morpho presents its 3D Photo ID™ technology at CARTES & IDentification 2010

Paris, December 6, 2010

Morpho (Safran group) will present its latest ID document security solution based on 3D Photo ID™ technology at CARTES & IDentification. This new solution brings enhanced security to identity documents.

It provides ICAO* compliant photos which enable 3D portrait engraving on polycarbonate cards for applications such as passports, ID cards and driver licenses. Its key features are unrivalled levels of quality, reliability and security as 3D Photo ID™ technology prevents photo alteration.

The new photo acquisition station developed by Morpho now completes its cutting edge solution. Its user-friendly, compact format makes it easy to install in an office environment and requires no major structural changes. Morpho will demonstrate its end-to-end solution at the exhibition - from photo acquisition to card production, using state-of-the-art laser engraving technology.

"With this new enrollment station, Morpho is now able to offer customers an end-to-end solution to implement 3D Photo ID™ technology," said Jean-Paul Jainsky, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Morpho. "Already selected for the North Carolina Driver License, it addresses the growing need for ever more secure technology to counter both card and identity fraud."

Morpho's complete 3D Photo ID™ technology is designed to meet the specific needs of administrations. Morpho will be at CARTES & IDentification from 7th to 9th December (Hall 4 / Booth H001).
