Safran creates Group Management and Top Executives department, headed by Benoît Gosset

Safran has created a new department, Group Management and Top Executives, as part of Corporate Human Resources. Reporting to Safran's Management Committee, it will define and apply the Group's recruiting, mobility and career management policy for top executives, as well as overseeing relations and partnerships with schools.
The new department will oversee the deployment of HR processes in areas under its responsibility and coordinate international HR practices in Group companies around the world, as well as managing international transfers.
Corporate Human Resources, headed by Jean-Luc Bérard, is now organized around three major departments:
- Training and Managerial Development, headed by Gilbert Font.
- Labor-Management Relations, headed by Francis Baeny.
- Group Management and Top Executives, headed by Benoit Gosset.
Benoit Gosset, until now deputy to Safran's Executive Vice President, in charge of the Aerospace Propulsion branch, will take charge of this new department.
Benoît Gosset, 56, graduated from the Ecole Centrale de Lille engineering school in 1978. He started his career in the Group with Messier-Bugatti, as coordination engineer, before being named after-sales manager in the United States from 1986 to 1989. On his return to France in 1990, he was successively named head of the logistics department, new business and repairs at Messier-Bugatti. In 2000, he was appointed Chief Operating Office of Messier Services, then President of Messier Services International in March 2002. In March 2004 he was placed in charge of the large nacelles division at Aircelle, then joined Safran on January 1, 2008 as deputy to the Executive Vice President, Aerospace Propulsion branch.
