Aircelle reaches agreement with Airbus for tailored nacelle services on Singapore Airlines’ A340-500 fleet

Aircelle is to provide comprehensive maintenance services for engine nacelle components on Singapore Airlines' A340-500 jetliners under terms of a new umbrella contract reached by the international carrier with Airbus for its "Flight Hour Services - Tailored Support Package."
As a result of this six-year agreement, Aircelle joins a supplier team that will furnish cost-effective, adapted services for Singapore Airlines' five A340-500s – which are operated in an all-business class configuration on long-haul flights.

Marc Laubreaux noted that Aircelle-built nacelles for Singapore Airlines' A340s have demonstrated very high reliability during years of service, which has been recognized by the carrier for operational excellence.
