Expertise and experience
Born in 1975, Lucie Muniesa graduated from the Ensae (Ecole nationale de la statistique et de l'administration économique). She started her career at INSEE (the French National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies). In 2002 she was appointed Deputy Head of the antitrust and state-aid control office at the competition, consumption and fraud control Directorate.
In 2004 she joined the APE (the French governmental investments agency) as Deputy to the Heads of the "Energy, Chemicals and other investments" and "La Poste - France Telecom" offices, before being named General Secretary of the APE in 2007.
In 2010, she joined Radio France as chief financial officer, then Deputy General Director in charge of finance, purchasing, legal affairs and resources development. In 2014 she was named director and deputy secretary-general at the French Ministry of Culture and Communication. Then, on February 2016, she was appointed Deputy General Director of the APE.
Lucie Muniesa has been appointed representative of the French State at the Board of Directors of Safran on February 8, 2016.
