Located in Bangalore, in close vicinity of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, several DRDO labs and ISRO, Safran Data Systems - Captronic Systems' headquarters combines operations such as R&D, Design, Development, Testing, Production, Sales & Support of Automated Test Equipment for Aero-Defence and Space customers. With nearly 70 employees, the team is specialized in Radio Frequency and Avionics Testing Solutions. It is also the new Sales & Support centre for Safran Data Systems in south-east Asia.

Founded in 1999 by Mr. Vinod Mathews, this Indian company is a pioneer in the field of automated simulation and test equipment, specializing in design and development solutions. The teams here offer a range of sophisticated forms of custom automated test, control and acquisition systems for R&D, design validation and production testing. The Major Services that the Organization provide are Automated Test Equipment Development (ATE), Validation and Testing in the field of Radio Frequency (RF), Hardware in Loop Simulation Systems, Control Systems, Data Acquisition Systems, Ground Telemetry Solutions, On Board Telemetry Solutions, Built-To-Print Embedded System Development, Control Panel Assembly, Wiring and Cable Harnessing as per IPC-620B/WHMA standards, and Annual Maintenance Contracts.

Innovations for critical missions
Captronic Systems places innovation as an essential subject within the company’s mentality. Indeed, the Indian company is part of different innovative projects. For instance, the AEW&CS project, a High Priority Radar Program led by the DRDO (Defence Research and Development Organisation) and other Indian institutions… In this project, Captronic Systems developed India’s first ATE, which can simulate and test 50 critical line replaceable units (LRU)!
