Safran Aircraft Engines’ Villaroche plant is located about 50 kilometers from Paris and covers more than 100 hectares. Established in 1947 to perform ground and flight testing of both commerical and military aircraft engines, Villaroche now has more than 5,000 employees.

Villaroche handles the complete assembly of both commercial engines (CFM families) and their military counterpart (M88). The plant also assembles certain modules for the TP400 turboprop engine, as well as the SaM146 and GE90. It features a state-of-the-art assembly line designed for LEAP engines. In addition, this site is home to the sales & marketing and engineering departments, two centers of excellence, supply chain management, maintenance of commercial engines and also the Safran Aerospace Museum.
