Job Description
Procurement tactical
•International environment requires exceptional problem-solving skills and collaboration across multicultural groups
•Ability to lead a cross functional team
•Work with planning team to balance supply and demand, elevating material shortages and supply risk when necessary
•Responsible for procuring and managing finished goods, raw materials, and outsourcing
•Promote supplier adherence to schedules and agreements
•Provide proactive recovery plans for forecast shortfalls, production change, and/or inventory changes
•Support development and track departmental key performance metrics (KPI)
•Responsible for maintaining inventory targets and safety stock levels
•Manage planning parameters in system and generate/execute annual improvements in inventory levels
•Other duties as may be assigned
Intercompany Sales
•Plan and execute inter-company sales per demand plan to achieve highest customer satisfaction
Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) activities
•Partner with Quality, Purchasing, Supplier Performance teams to establish effective supplier management practices in line with company strategies
•Process Procurement Supplier Corrective Action requests (SCAR) to ensure supplier compliance to goals and objectives
•Measure supplier performance through the use of actionable scorecards
•Develop analysis to help identify and mitigate supply risk
•Support creation of appropriate KPI's, analysis, and publish as necessary
•Manage and lead local Supplier Cockpit review with key supplier management teams
•Coordinate and conduct business review meetings with key suppliers
Procurement process improvement
•Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence processes both global and at the local level
•Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures
•Contribute to development of standard operating procedures and workflow for key Procurement processes
•Collaborate to resolve errors and exceptions that impact purchase activity
•Ensure continuous improvement of the data management
•Strive to continuously improve Procurement performance by utilizing and understanding best practices, lessons learned and industry trends.

Job Requirements
Physical/Environmental Scope of Position:
•Sit for long periods of time while operating office equipment
•Vocal communication, hearing, and visual acuity are required for safety, direction, and the exchange of ideas in the industrial environment
•Subjected to inside environmental conditions, noise, vibration, oils, and other related industrial hazards
•Perform duties requiring kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and occationally lifting up to 20 pounds unassisted

Experience/Education/Certification Required:
•Associate's Degree or equivalent college credit required
•Three to five years of experience in a production or materials function, or 7+ years of experience in Purchasing/Procurement
Attributes/Skills Required:
•APICS Certification preferred. Must pass APICS basics module within one year of obtaining position.
•Strong computer skills that include Microsoft Office
•SAP experience within the materials function or other ERP/traceability/planning software strongly preferred
