Responsibilities of the Position
• Install, troubleshoot, repair, test, and maintain electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
• Have the ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical drawings and manuals to aid in troubleshooting equipment problems.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance tasks on a daily basis.
• Participate in projects to improve equipment reliability.
• Maintain all plant equipment and facilities in accordance with National, State, and Local Codes.
• Share knowledge with other maintenance personnel in equipment operation and maintenance techniques to help improve the overall skill set of the team.
Additional Responsibilities of Position:
Ability to preform all proceeding job task in addition to the following:
• Troubleshoot, repair, test, and maintain plant utilities systems, electrical, compressed air, steam, HVAC, water cooling systems, propane/natural gas, and overhead cranes
• Perform all aspects of metal fabrication: MIG, TIG, and Stick welding, use of Plasma Arc, aceytelene torch, drill press, band saw, and cut off saw; thread pipe, including use of threading and tapping tools; use precision tools such as micromenters and dial calipers; operate surface mill and lathe, to include fabrication of small repair components.
• Maintain and install basic instrumentation:
• Maintain and repair all process and production-specific equipment related to all Carbon plant or Wheels and Brakes operations
• Use DCS & PLC components, microprocessor systems for troubleshooting equipment failures
• Research parts and components for purchasing requirements
• Perform other related duties as required

Job Requirements
Experience and Education
• Minimum of seven years experience in an industrial manufacturing facility.
• Must have the ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics, drawings and manuals.
• A strong background troubleshooting electric controls and instrumentation is desirable.
• Strong background troubleshooting/programming Allen Bradley and/or Siemens PLCs.
• Strong background with Fanuc and ABB robots.
• Solid experience maintaining 5 Axis CNC machines.
• Strong Heidenhain and/or OSP controls a plus.
• Strong hydraulic background is a plus.
• Experience performing calibrations is a plus.
• Must be a High School Graduate.
• Post secondary education in an industrial field is desirable.
Experience/Education/Certification Required:
• Associate Degree in industrial electricity/electronics or verifiable equivalent experience
• Minimum of five years experience in an industrial environment
• Experience with PLC and DCS control systems and troubleshooting microprocessor based systems
• Experience in using electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics
• Experience with CNC machine maintenance and operation
• Experience in welding, cutting, and fabrication a plus
• Additional education, experience, and/or military experience will be considered in the event that an applicant does not meet one or more of the above requirements
Attributes/Skills Required:
• Knowledge of various types of hydraulic, pneumatic, and water pumps, valves, and related systems
• Must be able to read and understand P&ID's
• Must understand the following:
