Position Title: Logistics Supervisor Spares
Maintaining the US Spares Distribution warehouse and supervising receiving, stocking, distributing, quality assurance and inventorying of supplies and equipment; and performs related duties as assigned.
•Plans and coordinates work, trains and motivates, monitors and evaluates performance of Logistics Coordinators; ensures their ability to safely operate material handling equipment to move materials to and from storage configurations; Counsels, records, and disciplines as necessary.
•Monitors the unloading of all materials into the Receiving Department; Ensures materials are staged for counting and inspection; Ensures receiving reports accurately report material received. Resolves discrepancies in conjunction with Procurement and accounting regarding invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports. Monitors the flow of paperwork from Receiving for timely archiving. Oversees the movement of material from Receiving to the Warehouse in an efficient, effective, and safe manner.
•Checks incoming material for; shipping damage, serial number verification and general serviceability. Verifies all paperwork is accurate and provides traceability to the material.
•Principal authorized release signatory in accordance with company regulatory authorities
•Responsible for accurately inputting data into the computer system for material movement transactions including (issues, returns, receipts, transfers & cycle counts)
•Coordinate GSI Inspection along with shipping goods to military pack house.
•Load, unload and transport materials onto pallets, vehicles, racks, shelves by hand or with the use of appropriate equipment, including installation or strapping, bracing or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
•Distributes paperwork and materials to and from warehouse/worksite to designated area
•Stocking, Inventory Control and accuracy, packaging, data input and material distribution and or delivery.
•Distributes and conveys paperwork and materials to and from warehouse/worksite to designated stage area for Final Shipping
•Provide timely response to internal customers on queries.
•Demonstrate awareness and understanding of the EHS policy and management system, the importance of conforming to EHS policies and procedures and consequences of failing to comply with EHS policies and procedures
•Collect KPI data for the team performance. Present this data at the AEM as site leader for the Spares team.
•Lead the effort on improvements, coaching and encouraging the team to contribute to the site efforts on ISID or other improvement initiatives.
•Performs other related duties as required

• B.S. or B.A. Degree in Business Management, Industrial Management or related or equivalent relevant work experience
•Previous experience required in Warehousing, Receiving, Inventory Control, or Materials Management in a manufacturing environment with two years Supervisory experience (preferred).
•Experience with SAP or another ERP system is preferred
•Strong knowledge of Receiving, Warehouse, and Material Handling operations, methods, and practices.
•Ability to develop personnel and equipment structures to support present and future operations.
•Must possess the ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing, including public speaking.
•Import/export documentation experience strongly preferred.
•Experience with Continuous Improvement (6S, ISID, etc.).
•Ability to drive light duty trucks, operate pallet jacks and or hand trucks is preferred.
•Ability to operate general office equipment such copy, label machine & count scales.
•Knowledge of shipping supplier's software systems (i.e. FedEx, UPS etc.) preferred
•Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
•Strong computer skills including MSOffice Suite, and specifically Microsoft Excel.
•Strong attention to detail
•Ability to interact and communicate with all levels of personnel.
•Ability to read technical drawings preferred.
•Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate effectively.
•Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical procedures, purchase specifications, applicable FAA regulations and contractual terms and conditions
•Familiar with inspection tools, aids and devices used in determining tolerance specifications preferred.
